Your finance department in Dhaka. Not your auditor.
Bookkeeping, monthly reporting and CFO support, run to the same process we use for our clients in the United States. Audit and tax filing are licensed work and we refer them out, which is why the books we hand over are ready for them.
- No setup fee
- Price agreed in writing
- No minimum term
- One named person to call
What lands on the 7th
The monthly pack, every month, on a date you can plan around.
- Profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow
- Bank, card and mobile-wallet reconciliation, complete
- Budget against actual, with the variances explained
- What changed, in a paragraph you can forward
- The questions we think you should be asking
What you need first depends on where you are.
The work overlaps. The starting point does not.
Foreign-owned businesses in Bangladesh
A subsidiary, branch or liaison office whose parent needs numbers it can consolidate.
- Books kept in a form your group reporting accepts
- Monthly pack in English, on a fixed date
- Handover to your auditor without a scramble
Growing Bangladeshi businesses
You have outgrown one part-time accountant but a full finance team is years away.
- Entries, reconciliation and a month that actually closes
- A report you can read, not a trial balance
- Someone to ask before you make the decision
Businesses raising money
An investor, a bank or a buyer is about to look at your numbers.
- Books cleaned back as far as the diligence goes
- A model and a data room that hold up to questions
- Answers ready before they are asked
Grouped by the problem you are trying to fix.
Open any one to see exactly what is inside it.
Fixing and setting up
If the books are behind, or there is no system yet
Advice and training
If you have the numbers but not the decisions
A finance team, without building one.
Three things make the difference here. You can check all three before you speak to anybody.
Two people on every month
Whoever prepares your books is not the person who signs them off. That is ordinary inside a finance team and impossible for one hire, however good they are. It is also why a resignation here does not stop your books.
The price is on the page
Work out what you would pay in about a minute, then it is fixed in writing before anything starts. For a business in Bangladesh, nobody else here does that.
The standard came from the US
Nineteen years and more than a hundred engagements built the way this work is done. The work happens in Dhaka, to that standard, and the same person answers when you ask why a number moved.
What it costs, who you deal with, and who checks the work.
Set against the alternatives, including the ones that are not us. The salary figure is public data, not our estimate.

Nineteen years of this, before any of it came to Dhaka.
"The finance problems were really operations problems." After 19 years and 100+ engagements, I kept seeing it. So I built Finsightic to run finance and operations as one team, with clean books, clear reporting, and the systems behind them, without a full-time hire.

What we do not do.
Finsightic is not a chartered accountancy firm. Statutory audit and assurance are ICAB licensed work and we do not do them. We do not file your VAT or income tax returns with the NBR, we do not make your RJSC filings, and we do not give legal opinions. What we do is keep the records all of that is built from: a VAT return that is a filing job rather than a reconstruction, TDS deducted and scheduled month by month, provident fund and gratuity accounted for rather than guessed at, and a ledger your auditor can work from without a three week scramble. We refer the licensed work to ICAB registered firms and hand over books that are ready for it.
Full HR services are outside our scope too. We would rather say no than take work we cannot do properly, and you should be wary of anyone who says yes to all of it.
Start with a look at your books.
Fifteen minutes, no charge. We say honestly whether we can help, and what it would cost.
