The team behind the books.
Finsightic runs bookkeeping, monthly reporting and CFO support for growing companies in the USA. The team that does that work sits in Dhaka. This page is who we are, how we got here, and what we hold to.
The work is not new. Serving Bangladesh is.
For years our Dhaka team has kept the books of American software companies, agencies and e-commerce businesses: entries through the month, every account reconciled, closes on schedule, reporting written to be read. That work runs to USA standards and USA deadlines, and it still does. Taking on clients in Bangladesh directly is the new part. The team, the process and the standard are not.
The aim in Bangladesh is bigger than entries. We want businesses here to run their finance the way our USA clients do: the same systems, the same month-end process, the same discipline of a date, a checklist and a second pair of eyes. Not a version toned down for the local market. The same thing.
That is the pitch, honestly stated. We are not the cheapest option in Dhaka and do not try to be. We are the option where the month closes on an agreed date, a second person checks the work before it reaches you, and the report tells you what changed and why.
Founder-led. Standards-driven.
Abu Bakar
Founder and CEO
Before Finsightic, Abu Bakar worked as a corporate financial controller and then led a division that managed the books and financial planning of more than 100 technology companies, from venture-backed startups to businesses past 25 million dollars a year. The pattern he kept seeing was the same everywhere: the software was bought, the accounts existed, and the numbers still could not be trusted, because nobody owned how it all worked together. Finsightic was built to own that.
Who does the work.
Your books are kept in Dhaka by the same people who run our USA clients' closes. There is no separate junior team for local clients. Same desks, same checklists, same reviewer.
- One named person runs your engagement, and you can call them.
- A second person checks every month before it reaches you.
- The working papers, the software and the data stay in your name.

What we hold to.
Own the outcome
We do the work, not just advise on it. The entries are in, the month is closed, the report ships. That is the job.
Plain numbers
Financials should make sense to the person running the business, in English or in Bangla. We explain, and we do not hide behind jargon.
Systems over heroics
Anything done from memory or by late nights becomes a written, repeatable process. That is how quality survives growth.
Honest boundaries
We are not a chartered accountancy firm and do not pretend to be. Statutory audit, tax filing and legal opinions go to licensed firms, and we say so on every page.
How we protect your data.
- Every engagement starts with an NDA, before we see a single number.
- Access is per person and least-privilege: no shared logins, and a record of who touched what.
- Your books live in your own accounting platform, under your own subscription. If we part ways, everything stays with you.
- Client data is never shared with anyone without your explicit authorization.
