What your monthly fee includes.
Where you land inside a band depends on what a look at your accounts shows, and inventory, foreign currency income, courier settlements, VAT registration or a second entity move the range up; the calculator above counts them all. The exact number is fixed in writing before any work starts, and paying yearly takes 10 percent off it.

The key terms
- Prices are exclusive of VAT. Where VAT applies, it is added to the invoice.
- Software subscriptions are not in the fee. The account stays in your name and you pay the provider directly, which is also what keeps your data yours.
- Month to month, ending with one month's written notice, from either side.

Frequently asked questions
What is not included in the monthly price?
Catch-up work on old accounts, which is quoted separately before it starts. Foreign-owned group reporting, which is scoped on its own. The Virtual CFO add-on. Everything else inside your band is covered.
Does the price move after we agree it?
No. It is written into the engagement letter before any work starts. If your volume grows past the limits of your band we will tell you and agree the change with you, rather than adjusting an invoice and waiting to see if you notice.
What happens if we go over the transaction limit?
You move up a band, and we say so when it happens rather than at the end of the year. The estimator shows the volumes each band covers, so you can check where you are yourself.
Why does this cost less than hiring someone?
Because you are sharing a team rather than employing one. A salary is not the cost of a hire once you add the desk, the bonus, the provident fund and the months where they are learning. The comparison on this page uses the loaded cost, not the salary line.
A part-time bookkeeper would cost less than this. Why pay more?
They would, and if all you need is a ledger someone gets to eventually, that lower cost is the right answer and we will say so on the call. What the price here buys is different work: entries kept current, every account reconciled, the month closed on a date, a second person checking it before it reaches you, and records that stand up to an online VAT return. It is the same standard our USA clients pay for, and it costs more than the lowest-priced option because it is not the same work.
